Cost Of Study In UK

  • All above costs are an indicative and approximate range of expenses and is not an exhaustive list.
  • Tuition fees of top universities and certain courses such as MBA, Medicine, Dentistry, Law etc. have a much higher fee than the others.
  • Living expenses in the UK are higher in South East England and London than in other parts of England.

Employment Prospects

  • An international student can work 20 hours a week (during sessions) and is allowed full-time work during session breaks.
  • Integrated placement option is offered by several universities allowing students to kickstart their career.
  • Through the graduate route, Indian students can apply for a post study work visa which allows them to work for up to two years after successful completion of their undergraduate and postgraduate degree. Phd students are eligible for a three year extension.

Visa Requirements

Tier 4 (General) Student Visa– To pursue higher education in the UK, Indian students require a Tier 4 (General) student Visa. To be eligible for the visa, you must be 16 years and above, have an offer from a UK University which is approved by the UK government as a licenced Tier 4 sponsor, a valid English language proficiency score and availability of sufficient funds for tuition fee and living expenses.
